SAM RAE
Sam Rae (they/them) pushes the edges of Americana by telling candid tales of the human experience with their lyrics and songwriting paired with an unparalleled stage presence and looped cello/vocal tunes that will surprise an audience with it's unyielding energy. The highlight of it all may be their sultry alto vocals accompanied by guitarist Joel Timmons of Sol Driven Train and vocal harmonies by Terry McCants. Alongside their own tours Sam Rae has doubled as cellist and back up singer for Grammy Award-winning artist Brandi Carlile (2015, 2018-2021) and has toured extensively around the US collaborating with a variety of artists including Brandi Carlile, Gregory Alan Isakov, The Highwomen, Courtney Marie Andrews and more.
NATALIE PRICE
An indie-Americana mix of pop, folk, and little twist of country, Natalie's catchy melodies and smooth voice will put you at ease as she weaves stories of heartache, longing and joy. Her latest single, Heavy, was released in the summer of 2020. Described by Trey Gutierrez (Texas Music Magazine) as “one of Austin's most dynamic new singer-songwriters,” this artist’s ethereal, one-of-a-kind sound refuses to fall neatly into one category. Just as comfortable dabbling in Americana or folk as she is indie-pop, Natalie Price’s music is perhaps best encapsulated by its deep-seated humanity. “Each of her songs takes you on this journey,” says Noëlle Hampton, Price’s backup vocalist and singer/guitarist for Austin rock outfit, The Belle Sounds, “they capture not one emotion, but many -- [reflecting] what the listener needs to feel.”
BATTY JR.
Batty Junior is an indie folk band born and raised in Austin, TX. The band formed when Jarmon began collaborating with Wild Child's Sadie Wolfe on cello, and has grown to include Billy Wong on bass (not pictured), and Ringo Deathstarr's Daniel Coborn on drums.
